Okay this has been creeping me out for awhile now and I just told my mom about it and she got creeped out too. At night I always read in bed, I have a lamp on my night stand by my bed and I am always falling asleep reading. My husband works nights and doesn't get home until 1:30am or later. So a few times now (at least 5) I have fallen asleep reading and when I wake up a few hours later my husband still isn't home and my light has been turned off. Who could be turning off my light, or am I doing it in my sleep?? I doubt I am because I would lay my book down too and not sleep with it =) And my bed is high off the ground so I always have to be extra careful when I lean over to turn it off so I don't fall off the bed. What do you think is going on??

Its definately a wierd thing, I would be a little freaked out too. I would stay up with the light on, and just act like i'm asleep to see who is doing it. If not do that then check the door locks and windows, also just simply move the lamp away from the bed more to see if you are doing it yourself.

That is a good idea!! All of our windows and doors are ALWATS locked, I am crazy about checking them over and over again.

I think you must have done it in your sleep. there are people who can walk quite a long distance in their sleep. therefore, for you to just switch off your light should be an easy one unless you can very sure say that there is no way for you to walk in your sleep.

That is very strange. Maybe you could set up a video camera and watch and see what is going on. You might be surprised!!

this may sound wierd to you , but you may have a ghost in the house...I had one in a house I lived in as a child..they do these kinds of things. As long as it is not doing anything harmful, I would not worry about it because that would be a "good ghost"

I don't really think it has to do with something creepy. If there are really e.g. ghosts, I understand they are afraid of electricity and not able to manipulate them. Have an electrician check it out if you are really concerned. Likely some circuit thingy.
