I was searching for something to cook with Turkey yesterday and found this recipe Creamy Sun-dried Turkey. So I though I would share it with you all.
4 turkey breast steaks (roughly 5oz/150g each)
1.1/2 tbsp seasoned flour
1 tbsp Olive oil
2-4 cloves of garlic (chopped)
2 medium onions (chopped into wedges)
5-6 sun dried Tomatoes (roughly chopped)
2 tbsp Tomato puree
300ml/1/2 pint White wine
150ml/1/4 pint Turkey or chicken stock
4 tbsp half fat creme fraiche (I just used singe cream has had no creme fraiche)
50g/2oz chopped black olives
Coat the steaks with the seasoned flour and then heat the oil and seal the steaks on all sides. Remove the steaks from the pan and reserve. Add the garlic, onions and sun dried tomatoes to the pan and saute for 5 minutes, then return the Turkey to the pan.
Blend the tomato puree with the wine and add to the pan along with the stock and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes or until the Turkey is cooked.
Remove the Turkey and cover to keep warm. Stir the creme fraiche in the pan and add the olives. Heat through for 1 minute.
Then pour the sauce over the Turkey.
This is delicious, I've added the link to the website below so you can see for yourselves.
