hey, last nights episode is sort of freak me out! I mean, would you belive that, a fish getting cozy and actually getting bigger in a man's ____? hah! can't imagine making love to that fish- inhabited p______.. hehehe anyway, this leads me to ask anybody who can clarify me on the matter coz I've been wondering how they decide on what kind of medical condition they're gonna feature.. I mean, do they have real medical facts and basis or it's just the writer's pure imagination? i only have very basic knowledge on medical field so I wanna know if these medical discussions I heard in TV are reliable and worthy to be kept in my so simple repertoire of medical knowledge.. thanks

They mentioned this fish in the movie The Rundown.
Maybe they do something similar to ER. I have read before that there are doctors on the set of ER to act as consultants, making sure the actors are pronouncing terminolgy correctly, showing how patients would act to certain things, etc.

All I can say is that I'm happy this is one condition that us girls don't have to worry about getting! Seems like it's always the girls having all the horrible pregnancy medical conditions. Glad this one can't happen to us!
Although, if guys would just stay out of the Amazon, they'd probably be just fine. Ick. That was the nastiest looking thing when they pulled it out though.
