How should student will be?

In my place, a bad habit is spreading among parents especially on mothers. They are forcing their children to sit in the study room and spend their time studying and studying. Each of them wants their student should get first rank in the class. The students are not permitted to play with other children. The result found is that they may score high mark in exams. But when they enters college, they are going after bad habits, since most college gives absolute freedom to students and they enjoy this like any thing and their life becomes spoiled. I am having the view that we must have a balance view on all aspects including the attitude towards students
