I have just bought a new computer but it was about two months before Vista came out so I still have Windows XP. Do you have Vista and if so, is it better than XP? Given all the problems with bugs etc that I've heard about Vista I wonder if it is reall worth upgrading.

Vista has very high minimum requirements. While XP is very widely used, secure and most of the programs work on XP.I have installed Vista some days before and also removed it,as my computer was working very slow.I think XP is for normal people like me and Vista for professionals.

The best policy is to wait a year before buying a new Windows OS as they are always full of bugs.
Microsoft simply cannot test every aspect of it... as the program is too big... and people will always find a way to stuff it up by playing with it.
So Microsoft relies on the public to test it and find those bugs. Does not seem fair... but there are plenty of people out there who cannot wait for the very latest... usually the young people.
