I have a question...kind of stupid actually...but I really need to know.
I am planning on traveling to the Philippines in July and I have a flat screen tv that would fit perfect in my carry-on luggage. I really want to bring it home with me because I have barely used it and it would be a shame if I had t buy a new one in the Philippines when this one is perfectly fine.
Does anyone know if my plan is doable? Is this allowed? To pack it in my carry-on luggage. That way I know it is safe and easier to carry compared to putting it in a box and hand-carrying it. If I do put it in my luggage, will I need to take it out in the security area the way we do for laptops?
I hope someone can help me.

If it's small enough to go into your carry - on without exceeding the size or weight limits of the airline, I would not have thought that there would be a problem. As for security, it's best to ask, but to be on the safe side, I'd take it out to put it through separately like a laptop.
