I bet that did make your day. I know it sure would have made mine also. It is always nice for someone to think we are younger than what we actually are. How old was the guy who knocked at your door? He sounds like a very charming man. I would have a spring in my step the rest of the day also if I got a compliment from a nice looking, well dressed man. I'm glad that something good happened for you today.

Well, I´ve seen pictures of you here and you do look a lot younger than you are.
I can understand that the comment from the young man made your day. My mother always looked younger than she was and she was always really pleased when people thought that she was my older sister (and so was I).
Another prove that words are powerful. They can give us so much happiness.

That was a nice thing to happen. It's always nice to have someone give a compliment to us like that because you feel like it is real!

Hi Weemam, I can relate to that, I can remember when i was just turning 62 and some one said to the effect that I had a good long while before I got my old age pension check and I said how old do you think I am oh about the same age as we are she was 52, but dyed her hair and was convinced that if I dyed my hair I would pass for late forties, I earned each and every one of these gray hairs and am proud of it, as well what they do not know is the deals that some seniors get because they are 60-65, I do not mind admitting my age and I do believe I look 64 but I have been told otherwise.

wow.. you do look young at the age of 65.. it's suprising how he can think that you're under 60... what did you reply him then? did he ask you what types of facial product you're using? haha.. by the way.. do you mind sharing the secret of staying young to us? maybe we can stay and look young like you too? i do have a teacher that is quite old in age.. but she does look kind of cute and young if you notice her face.... it's very suprising that some people don't look old.. in fact, they look young... but the fact is still the fact right? :) ... it's great that you look young and healthy .. keep it up =)

Wow!!! It must be the air in Scotland. I can imagine how high that made you feel... what a nice man? Did you invite him in for coffee? Ha ha ha. You have six nice cups and saucers. lol.
Wouldn't it be nice if everybody who knocked on the door paid a compliment like that?
Brightest Blessings, Weemam and thanks for sharing.

Now that's a nice feeling, huh? :):):)
Great way to brighten the day too.
My mom is like that. Even now at almost 90 she still looks way younger. People usually put her at 70 still.
Me I don't think I will ever look younger. I always have these dark circles around my eyes that make me look tired and older. But it has nothing to do with being tired - although it gets worse when I am, of course.

Awh bless ya weehun, nice to hear that someone made your day. You carry on and enjoy that spring in your step all weekend and hopefully all week even! If you're young at heart, there's no reason why you wouldn't look younger than your age and you do seem to be very young at heart, sometimes I think I'm communicating with a 12 year old hehe! Only kidding weehun! anony xx
