runescpe distractions

I personally dont mind random events and stuff happening...but what really fries me....POPUPS!!! no telling how many times i die due to popups...oh well, all i get now is the stupid "create your own zwinky" adds that dont popup. but yes... annoying

lol same here that mysterious man just totally annoys me nuts lol. but yea its all for the sake of stopping botters that ruin the game for others. although botters are needed to get the raw materials, the increase of botters lately are really killing the game for others.

The random events are actually one of jagexs ways of preventing people from macroing. A strange man appearing and presenting a macro user a box would lock them up. Thats the point. Unfortunantly we all have to suffer from other people's cheating.

random events are an annoyance from the average non macro user, but they do have their advantages and uses. i love getting certain randoms, when fishing, i like to get the river troll, he breaks up the bordom of fishing lol. i like getting the genie, hey it's free exp. i like getting the maze, i get free stuff! yes that mesterious old man can be annoying, he generally bugs me when i am doing slayer tasks... and why jagex would deem my activities during slayer to be macro-esque is beyond me, because alot of the time i have to prepeare properly (or die from not doing so) and i have to concentrait or die. some random events do seem pointless, especially when they are gaining the attention of people like you and me, who play fair, but try and think how bad the cheaters would get if jagex gave up randoms, and just left everyone to it? at least we know jagex take an active stance on their rules and we can see that they do :)
