Atheists got nothing to do with anti-crists. Atheists just don't believe in God, Devil or anything that represents no matter what religion. And the funny thing is that every christian is trying to convince that God do exist. But no atheist wants any christian to believe the opposite. I think if you are good person and you are willing to make good things for the man kind, you have the right to believe in whatever you want, no matter if that exist or not. I'm just that kind of person who believes in logic and science :)

The Anti-Christ is suppose to be someone who believes that Jesus did not appear in the flesh. So it does apply to all atheists and non-believers, but in particular someone who has lots of influence to turn nominal believers and those who say they are Christians and are not away from believing that they can only come to God through Jesus Christ. So in the western world, Stalin and Adolph Hitler would be considered by Europeans to be anti-Christs and before that when the Roman Empire existed, we had Nero. It could also be that there will be a very strong Anti-Christ, a man whom people will assume to be Christian, but is really an agent of the devil. Another thought is the anti-Christ refers to the spirit in those who do not believe but reject and hate Christ.

Anti-Christs are more than simple sinners who don't believe in G-d.
An anti-Christ is one who specifically leads other people away from G-d. The opposite of Christ who brings us too G-d.
I could list off a number of people I consider to be anti-Christs. The point though is that these people could be very religious. For example David Koresh of the Branch Dravidians, was very religious, but religious that he himself was Christ. He was anti-christ, because he was the opposite of Christ
