some stories of how you end up with the dog you ahve are sweet, funny, sad, etc. i love to hear animal stories. share with me about how you ended up with yours. my last pup i got cause he was the neighbors dog and they didnt take care of him real well so he ended up at my house playing with the kids all the time. he was a big fluff ball. he was so sweet too. i ended up feeding him and bathing him. the neighbors after awhile just considered him as ours cause he wouldnt go home to them. we glady took him. he was a great dog. he even protected my daughter from getting badly attacked from a big dog one day. the dog attacked her and he was right there and took ahold of that dog and got him off of her before he could do alot of damage. i miss him alot. so how did you end up with yours?

I got my black lab mix from my mom. She took him in a few yrs back when my brother dropped him off. He was a friend's dog and the friend abused him so my brother took him and gave him to my mom. She recently rescued another dog and had 3 so I was missing having a dog around and asked if I could take him. And he's been a loyal faithfull companion since.

Well while it's not a dog. We got our cat from the SPCA. I really wanted to get another german sheppard but our trailer park has a 30 pound weight limit on dogs now so that was pretty much out of the question.
Now since we a smack dab in between two corn fields in the colder months we get mice. So I thought that getting a cat would be a good idea. Turns out that he is a pretty good mouser, he got a few of them so far.

My long story I'll make short easymoney. Our daughter moved back home with us bring a puppy and a cat.
We bought the house behind our house and she moved into it. She put the puppy outside while she worked. The puppy was a 2 year old Shih-Tzu. THEN, she brought a stray dog, a huge bassett hound and put it in the back yard with the puppy.
If you know about Shis-Tzus, they are very tender, loving dogs with very long hair.
The little dogs hair got so matted and twisted, he was hot and skinny and the big bassett hound wouldn't let him eat and kept attacking him.
I went over to mow the grass and to feed the dogs. The bassett hound attacked the little Shih-Tzu as I was trying to get him to eat. He looked up at me with his big brown eyes as if to say, "Please help me". I picked the little dog up in my arms as my heart was completely broken. I took the little dog home with me, just next door, and clipped him. I gave him a bath after I clipped his hair.
I hand fed him because it was the only way he would eat.
I have had the little dog ever since.
I told her she couldn't have him back until she learned how to take care of him and tried to explain to her that this little Shis-Tzu was not an outside dog.
She has since moved away leaving the dog with us. He has put on weight and loves his mom and dad, because he knows we love him.
He's precious. I don't know how anyone could treat a little dog so badly.

My mom actually bred my girl and had planned to keep her for herself.
She kept both Summer and her brother, Ice, and wanted to show them, but didn't have enough time to devote to training both of them.
I took over Summer's training and we were doing quite well. When I moved to the city I live in now, I had to leave her behind because I didn't leave in a place that allowed dogs.
When I finally did get a place that was dog-friendly, mom called and asked when I was coming to get my dog, so I did.

Hi!
Well I had three dogs. Two were Milkey n Bruno and then third one is Jinne.
Well milkey was a pomerian.I was just 7 years old when my family adopted her.We got her from one of my fathers friends. That evening when I was bringing her home with she was looking just like a little angel to me.
The other one named Bruno was a Street Dog.A dog in our colony gave birth to him and he was the only one who survived that extreme cold.So my parents decided to adopt him too.
Well time passed and we all got older and they both passed on.
Those were the two most aweful days of my life.
Then after a year and a half I was reading the news paper and I found this article about a miniature daschound pup availble.Well me n my brother went to the person he used to sell pups and there at his house I saw jinne she was just like milkey the same little angle so we bought her n she's still with me n I peay to gad that she will be with me forever.
