well i dont think if they are considered as just followers but I saw some video in youtube of Led Zeppelin tribute band and I think they are not just mere tribute band cause even the physical appearance are the same. This tribute bands came from Japan and I'm so surprise of how they imitate the band . One was called Red Zepperin and the other one h... I thnk something like Mr. Hayazaki... hmmm not exact but it certainly start with Mr.______ band. I think they are really hardcore fans since they exist for almost 30 years yeah they are really old.

I think that many of the 70s and 80s Rock bands would say that Zep had an influence on them. Strangely, I would also say that the band Jamiroqui were very much influenced by the 'Houses of the Holy' album.

I think a more recent band that Zep has influenced is Austrailia's Wolfmother. They have a very distinctive Zep vibe and at times their lead singer even sounds like Robert Plant.
