Weekends And The Family

I can still remember when my children were still very young. They were in their grade levels yet and I had to work hard to meet the financial needs of the family. On weekends I always prefer to stay home, to catch up with housechores. However, my children have different things running in their minds. At one time, we had to go fishing. At another time it was malling and eating out. What are your plans for the family for this weekend? Surely, the children have plans how to have it. Or is it you, the parent who plans it out?

My cats think the perfect way to spend the weekend is in bed & they would prefer mom to be there with them. Hate to disappoint them, tho, some of them are going to the pet adoption on Sat - well, maybe not, I spotted a flea & I know they don't want any fleas at the adoption.

pet adoption appears to be very strict in your country. i know how much you love your pet cats. i have learned this from discussions i happen to have across about them.

your family must always be looking forward to weekends coming if you give them treats all weekends long. have some happy times with your family on weekends, romel.

we always have the tendency to give in to the requests of our kids, though.

When I was young, I had fond memories of weekend with my family. My mom and dad would treat us to a Chinese restaurant and we'll watch a movie, go to the carnival or go shopping. We always looked forward to those weekends. Now with my own daughter, no matter how busy I am, I try to spend time with her and do fun things together. We usually go out on weekends to eat in her favorite restaurant, play in Timezone, go to the toy and book stores and go window shopping. She enjoy it very much and we both look forward to our weekends together. i hope she remembers it when she's older and when she looks back, she'll have good memories too. :)

i rest assure you that the kids will remember how well we give them occasional treats on occasions. my kids even talk about those eating outs and shopping days on end sometimes. this is understandable because those are happy days for them.

Hi trinidadvelasco, i'm not born in rich family, the sure think that we do is go to the church with the whole family and then eating out in regular food like in tend, but sometimes we just stay at home or visit my grandparents.
And sometimes we just walk around the mall without buy anything just window shopping. We had traveling by car too, just for refreshing but not spend much money.

hello, little_angel. one may not be rich but still, you can enjoy life. if you find it a happy time to be going out window shopping with the family, then that's good. If you find it some fine and good happy times to be visiting your grandparents, then that is happiness you get which is beyond the value of money. it is important for us to be happy, for happiness relieves us of stress and it makes living in this world worthwhile. good luck, my friend and, may you be successful in life and have a happy life today and for always. i care.

it is true that when we have a very tiring job, we prefer to spend the days at home for the good rest we need. your daily life seems to me like one excursion after another.

My parents do the planning when it comes to go out, especially on weekends. My dad doesn't like sudden excursions or trips. He always believes in a safe and well plan day. So I think I inherited this trait from my dad. I don't like sudden unexpected plans. I mean, if I have to go, I will, but if not, I'll just stay home or continue with what I was planning for. Have a great day Trinidad! (^^,)

Reading this reminds me why I wanted so bad to work from home and have the options to go and do things with my kids. When I look back now I am so glad I made this decision and will be forever grateful to my business for letting me have the special times with my family!

Velasco, I'm new to the parenting. I have Two beautiful girls. One is 15 month's old and the other 2 months old. i'm glad i still make the decisions.. lol who know's how long that would last. As a parent i think i want to be the one to plan them up untill there at least 15-16 yrs of age or if the mature earlier.
