Why do guys think they can just give us a look and we're ready for anything?

I just wish my husband realized I need warming up... to want to get intimate. Even if its a little flirting through out the day. A little conversation about something I care about too, some smooches here and there. If all that was in place...then hey...maybe the LOOK would get me going. Without anything, my engine just won't turn over..so to speak. Do you agree or is it easy for you to get right in the intimate mood for your loved one?

I love 'LOOK' !! Sounds very familiar....my wife often says, You've got that Look in your eye.
Yes, I agree about all the preparation, but sometimes the mood doesn't come on the bloke until late at night, when everything else has been got out of the way. And then, of course, he's ready to go, and the wife is expected just to get with it.
It's the big problem of men being men and women being women, and God having a big laugh at the kerfuffles it causes!

Well put....I have pondered the thought of why God made us that way. Possibly to make us reach beyond ourself. To actually be unselfish and care about another too. Once we can do that... then we'll experience something even more intimate and bonding that is worth it all.

Tell him you need some pre-game prepping before I tries kicking a field goal.
Maybe putting it in terms he can understand will get the point across.

He's more of a computer geek..and Army Game addict too. So I'll need terms related to those to motivate him I suppose....:) lol
Let's see....since he has a mac I can't ask him to reboot me before I'll function properly. Need some help here any ideas...?

hmmm...I've never used a mac, but I'll give it a shot...
How about you need rebooted and they password must be submitted slowly in order for him to gain entry??

Its not that guys think like that, but since that is how it is with them (ie if you give him a LOOK), they think that women also are like them.
I think you should catch him 'in the mood' once, and then just start off a conversation; ask him if he knows what will reeally turn you on. And then you can go on to describe what you want him to do.
The reason why this approach will work is because you're telling him what you want, along with an incentive - that it'll help to turn you on. Try it.
