do you feel left out already if your phone is an older unit...do you upgrade right away to get the latest phone or you just continue using the phone that you have until it runs out anyways you can reason out that it served the same purpose? for me,only when i can already afford to upgrade a newer version thats the time that i upgrade, i dont mind getting pass by some newer unites though... what about you?

if only my cellphone can still work,no matter how out of date it is,I will not change it.I used to its funtion and use.what is more, changing a new cellphone needs money,so I will stick to use the old one.

I usually use my mobile phone up to 3 years before considering changing it. I do not keep up with the latest model of the mobile phones, I will only change it when the phone is out of order and mostly it is the battery that is giving me the problem that made me to change it. It is not cost effective to change the battery, it will be better to upgrade to a new mobile phone.

i agree..the more you change the phone, a lot of times you will be buying for a new battery, so its best if you buy a new cellphone instead.

I try to upgrade mine yearly. It's because cell phones depreciate a lot faster and I figured if I change my mobile yearly I could still get a good value for it when I trade it in rather than wait for it to die out on me or sell it in 3-4 years time. I have a postpaid line and my service provider has this loyal subscriber promo where they give you a free phone every time your contract is ending so that you'll stay with them for another 2 years. I don't have plans on changing service provider so their loyalty program works for me.
