I am about to go to my interview at the US Embassy for my US Visa.... WUHOOOO!!!!

Well good luck to you and it would be good if you could get the visa that you want .. sometimes it can be a bit unnerving going for these types of interviews so hope that it all went well for you. It seems that you started this discussion a week ago .. so by now you might know whether or not you were successful or not. If not successful .. ask them why and what you can do to change the situation. Is this for permanent residency in the United States? I don't think you need a personal interview just for holidays.

Well, I got the chance coz my mom got her US citizenship almost 3 years ago. And im a minor so it was kinda fast.. I went for interview last May 8th. Got my visa 2 days later. Whew!!!! Im leaving on the 22nd... Good for me! Thanks God!

Best of luck for the interview.Don't forget your documents and give proper answers to their questions.Most important to show a considerable amount of balance in your bank.If you are applying for student visa I think they will ask you the reason for selecting USA as an education place.Be positive and smart.Every answer will count towards your eligibility to get visa.Again best wishes.

HI kitkatz. Goodluck on your interview. remember you should make the consul feel that you have close family ties. Second is you should convince them that you are coming back. Third is you should have the money so that they will grant you the visa. These 3 factors are the most important to obtain a US visa. Be confident and answer smartly. Goodluck!

hey, good luck! just be composed, poised and relaxed. answer truthfully and clearly the questions the consul asks. bring with you all the required documents, records, etc. and dont bother bringing a cellphone as they will not let you bring it inside with you. Pray as this always helps. post us how it turns out!

all the best kitkatz, just make sure u have all ur documentation in place as they ar very strict and harsh if u dont..also dont stamme, fumble or do something silly while bing inteviewde, as they look upon to every1 very suspiciously
