We all possess both good and evil. Some find it easier to show the good side rather than the bad and vice versa. But my question is to you find it easier to see the evil/badness in someone rather than the good? Do you think it is easier to spot when something is wrong rather than complimenting when things are going right. We live in a world where the media will always highlight the badness. for instance, In Scotland we have 2 football teams Rangers and Celtic. Both sets of these fans are part of a very bitter devide related to Religion. Now both clubs are fighting tooth and nail to eradicate this problem and are doing very well I may add, but the media never commends them for this they will continually highlight the ongoing problem no matter how little it may be. This is just an example of what I mean and I am sure we all have other examples. But why are we like this, not just the media but us all?

When I was younger, I believed most people were evil and you couldn't trust but a few people in your life. As I got older, and experienced life and other cultures, I'm a firm believer in most people are good and they'll do something bad for a reason. Maybe not a good reason, but one that seems right to them at the time. However, I won't confuse good or bad with being stupid. Being stupid does spread rapidly. But thats just my opinion.
In person, I make it a point to point out the good people do because too many people are quick to say what bad/wrong they did. Maybe its more of a balance thing. Even the media highlights the bad, its what sells, and is easier to get bad information in the media, and because you can get information anytime/anywhere, its really easy to draw bad conclusions.
