Spouse's income.

Men do u feel bad when ur wife makes more income than you???? I know there was a point in my life when my wife made more than me. And i had mix feelings about it. What do u think.

My wife makes more money in business than me-I see the money and participate in spending it-she helps with school fees for the children and occasionally buys me clthes and stuff! I give all the support she needs beause that is our money! No Mix feelings at all!

Thanks guy's ur input is great. i agree with BigO and that they can use it against u, but my wife at that time didn't. i just felt hopeless and i guess i was depresseed beacusae i alway's made the main bread of the house. Which also ment that i spend it how i mostly wanted to.. of course after she blew most of it hehehehhee..i got left over from my own scraps. Now we have 2 small kids and i coudn't care less about money or who makes more as long as there food and formula in the refridge. Thanks . Teddy T

Well, I don't know if you would agree or not, but nowadays men and women are not much different when it comes to earnings. I mean, it's ok, nowadays, if your wife makes more than you do. Or if you can't force yourself accept it, then find ways to earn extra income. There are lots of ways and sites that pay money online. I know because Im doing it.

I think it depends on the person. It is 2007 and I personally feel it is ok if your wife or girlfriend makes more than you. But it could be a double edge sword. Maybe your girl is ok with it until she has to pay for something. Then maybe, in moments of anger, she will bring it up. I think it is not cool for the woman, nor man, to use their income as leverage in an argument. At the end of the day, the income should be for the household!!!
