I have a wireless router which is encrypted but I have neighbors somewhere whose router isn't secured. Anyway, not that I really think that has anything to do with it but my I will be online via my wireless connection when all of a sudden my computer tells me that there in no wireless available and then it hooks me to my neighbor's unsecured connection. Then eventually it will knock me off again and send me to another connection...either mine or a different neighbor. I have moved my router to different places. I have rebooted the router and the computer. I have also tried moving my computer around to a different location but regardless, sometimes when I am in the exact same spot it will say connection is low or connection is excellent. In the past this has happened and then all of a sudden it stops and does what it is supposed to do and stays that way for weeks or even months. Anyone else experience the bouncing wireless signal? How did you remedy it?

Maybe you should check the wireless settings. Check the advanced settings and the order of connections. This has happened to me before and when I tweaked the order of connections and setting the firewalls and other settings, the connection became better.
