Getting a new PC game..which one...?

FPS wise I suggest you check out Call of Duty II and Half Life 2. Both of those games offer some excellent single player with multiplayer capacity as an added bonus. If you are really into the WWII genre, I would also suggest any of the Brothers In Arms series as it maintains a high level of realism and entertainment. RTS wise, check out Company of Heroes. It is graphic and processor intensive, but just lower the settings a little bit and it should do fine. The single player is excellent, and the skirmish mode against the computer AI is very fun as well, and offers a multiplayer experience offline.

hope you dont have a grphics card on your system..most of the recent games work under these card.it was not too costly ..it was based on its power like 4 mb to 512 mb..i suggest you to buy a 256 mb graphics card!..so that all the recent games...some of the good games are prince of persia,motral combat,gears of wars,matrix...etc!

in this period i'm playing craddle of Rome. this is a puzzle game, you can build yr empire every match. i found it very relaxing! unfortunately the free version is available for 1 hour...

It sounds like you my have a media data corruption. You should look to device drivers for proper functions.

if you are seeking any trial versions, you can download it from Microsoft itself. There are other sites such as Yahoo games, techtree.com, games2download.com etc.
