Where do you keep your CPU case?

Just curious to know..all those who use desktop pcs here..Where do you keep your CPU case? Is it beside your monitor on the table? Or is it on a specially alloted place on a computer desk? Or do you prefer keeping it own the ground? Any particular reason for doing so? What to you advice?
