Nutritionally speaking, one should eat the recommended food for our eyes. Vitamin A also known as beta carotene are good for the eyes. they maintain the normal function of the eye. Some good sources of vitamin A are carrots and fruits. But don't over eat, there is such thing as over supply and will cause defect. Likewise, resting your eyes for 6 to 8 hours a day for repair is also advised..! don't watch very near the TV or computer. 20 feet is the suggested distance form the wathce and the TV. Goodluck!

Yes you are correct eyes are very precious organ and we have to take special care to protect them.What i do is---------- i rest my esey when ever i spend alot of time near a system by washing my face with cool water,then i close my eyse and rest myself by listening to some senseible music and sometimes i put cucumber pieces on my both eyes.

BLink your eyes more often. This will help relieve the stress in your eyes. Or better yet, close your eyes for a minute. Just don't sleep while office hours.
