the discussions of the people who respond back to your Discussions? Do you even take the time to check out the responses to your discussions, and reply back to them?
For me, there have been times people might feel I never go in and check out my past discussions that I have started. Some even may feel it is not worth responding to anything of mine.
Honestly, I hope there are not too many who think that. I would Never want anyone to think that I might just be in this site for the money. I do take time to Read and Respond to the comments everyone seems to make in my discussions. I feel we can learn a lot about someone when we do this as well.
I also will go in and check out the persons profile of a person who chooses to Respond to one of my discussions and see if their is something in their discussions I could give some positive feedback for. I feel even here, do unto others and they will do unto you, and also is that not one of the best ways to make friends, by being interested in what they are doing as well.

Yes, I dig ya, I do most of the things you do too. I always check the responses of mylotters to my posts to see if they wanted to clarify something and just to thank them for responding.. I also take time to go back to the discussions where I responded, the OP might have said something important to about my response. I keep on reminding myself this is a discussion site, everybody must be "discussing", not just give his opinion and leave, discussions must be sorted out before it must come to an end. And yes, I also visit profiles to check a mylotter's posts, I think, if she can post something as wonderful as this discussion, I bet she's got lots of them :D... Thanks for letting me share my thoughts... God bless..

Thanks for the comments. I also am like you. If I find someone who has responded well to one of my discussions I go then and check out one of their discussions to give them the just due they deserve as well.

I do regularly check and read the responses to my discussions although I may not be able to reply to all of them. I will read them and give them ratings and will respond to as many as I can or the ones that give good answers. It is nice to go back and forth with people about a topic, even if we do not agree with each other. I love the interaction. Lately, I have not been able to do this much because of my health problems but will try and get back into the swing of things once I know what is wrong with me.

Sometimes I spend hours just going through discussions responding, but that only happens every couple months or so. I try to always rate stuff as I go.
I guess lately it just seems real life has become more important and starting discussions is a lot easier than following up on my responses and on who has responded to me.
So, yeah I try to give good responses and feedback and keep up. No, I'm not in it for the money. There is the laziness and real life factors to account for too though.
And it does drive me up a wall when I try to answer all relative discussions and no one answers mine.

Often I do. If the person has just left a short word or two, I don't bother, but if they've taken the time to type out a nice response to me, I'll go check out their profile. If it seems they have some similar interests to mine, I will go ahead and add them as a friend. Then I set notify to on so I can receive their future discussions in my email and reply to the ones that interest me. This way, I never have a shortage of discussions to reply to!

I always go back to the responses and comment. It might take me a while, but I always do.
It's this responding and commenting that makes myLot enjoyable, make it more like a conversation than just writing things doing and then leave them open.
If I posted a discussion it's because I"m interested in hearing opinions and ideas about it, so I go back to read them. And then there is usually something that I would like to comment, respond or even ask about the response itself.
It's this two way thing that make being here more interesting.

Actually, this question is a bit outdated now. :P
Have you been checking your emails? If yes, myLot is starting to send out notification for comments as well. See if they ended up in your spam folder. :PP

Is that so? I thought she was just mentioned that she does that - but that wasn't her real question - just a passing remark.
But yea, you might be right! ;-)

I always check the responses to my discussions but I don't always respond to them. Once in awhile I will check out the discussions of the people who have responded to mine but not very often. Its a good idea though. I also go back and check on discussions that I have responded too.

I have not gone back into many discussion since I had been on dial up and the loading of pages was sometimes an issue. Since our housefire and having high speed internet the profiles of my friends have been accessible to me. I have you set to Notify ON so I get your discussions currently into my email to a folder for Mylot. I wish more were like you. Take care my friend.

Yes I revisit the comments made by my friends as well as by me. I she what my friends have made comment on my writings. In this way we know our deficiencies. We find opportunity to correct ourselves. I generally visit all the forums started under Discussions. My base of selection of any topic is my interest and knowleability. I respond friends as well as others topic about which I am fully awair. We encounter lot of new topics daily here, only few are replied. There are many people who spent 7-8 hours daily on mylot, I cannot. Whenever I find time I open mylot and respond few topics as per my choice. Money is secondary thing for me. I am getting here 3-4 cents per posts which is lower though as compared to other fellows.

I check every single response. Some responses I even reply to. Although I have heard that we are not supposed to do this.
I just feel as though it's polite to reply to some responses, & to be honest, some responses are so good, that they elicit a reply.
It helps to grow a relationship with various people, especially my friends.
Can't respond to them all though.

I can honestly say that many of the responses I've had are so interesting that I do check out those people. A great response is a bit of a character reference, and I find that the people who do good responses are usually those who come up with good discussions. Certainly not a waste of effort, I've had a lot of fun with so many of their discussions and mine.
Admittedly I'm not always able to keep track of everyone, but "discussions my friends started" is one of my normal lists these days.

I do check out the responses I get to my discussions, and if they're post merits a response from me I will make sure I reply to it. I'll also check back on the discussions that I've responded to, to see if the person starting the discussion had anything to say to my post.

Yeah, I'm not one to just start a discussion and then run away from it! :] I always go back to see who responded and then reply to those as I see fit. Sometimes the a lot of the answers are the same so I don't respond to them all, but I make sure I take the time to show responders that I do care about what they have to say.
