I really hope that this Discussion will stay as it is just a Message for all of Steve's Friends
He would like to say Hi to everyone and let everyone know that he misses them and that he sincerely misses logging into mylot every Day and seeing all his Friends

I never really got to know him, but he was one of the first people to reply to some of my discussions. He seemed like a really awesome guy....it's no wonder so many people miss him. Even if he doesn't remember me, please tell him the Katlady says hi back. Thanks hon.

Katlady, awesome is a good way to describe Steve. MyLot was a truly exciting place before we lost him. MyLot was alive with his deep thoughts, his sharp wit, his brilliant humour, his genuine friendliness, his ability to say the right thing to the right person. He made us think. He bewildered us sometimes. He made us wonder if he was pulling our leg or if he was serious. His deep, deep love of London, of England, of English literature and all things English appealed not only to English people but people from other lands as well.
We miss him dreadfully and myLot seems a tad tired and drab without him. Thankfully there are still some here who keep the dream alive and hope for his return.

Thank you Gabs. We all miss Steve too and his somewhat cheeky posts. He kept us all smiling and we too enjoyed logging into Mylot in Steve's day. I wish they'd let him back, then there would be a few more quality discussions, which are always interesting. He had a knack for making discussion.
Oh well... I'm not sure whether we will ever see that day but in the meantime, please send my greetings back to him. Thank you for passing this on... love and huggggs.

I didn't really know him all that well but I am quite sure I know who you are talking about. And I have seen a few of his discussions. I hope he comes back. Please tell him I said hi even though he probably doesn't have a clue to who I am.lol.

Thank you Gabs. I also had a message from Steve today, saying how much he misses all his friends here.
I am thankful for friends who are still here and I appreciate them all, but there will only ever be one like Steve. As another response said, he was awesome. He had his own peculiar brand of humour that no one else could ever have. His wit was brilliant.
His serious discussions caused us to pull our hair out trying to come up with the right response, but we loved every minute of it. Caught up in such involved thinking, we would look at his next response and burst out laughing, not knowing if he was pulling our leg or if he'd had too much of that dark juice.
He shared with us his love of England and everything English. He shared with us his deep love for his wife Denji - and his complaints about her cooking and clothes buying. It was heartwarming to read their responses to each other's discussions.
I could write pages of how awesome he was, but it all boils down to one thing: we miss him and myLot is much poorer for his absence.
I hope certain people read this and feel ashamed.
