Has anyone ever watched The Notebook?

If you did, wasn't it just wonderful? I mean, finding a love like that, does this ever really happen? If it does, do you think it only happened in that era? That time? When feelings like that were so fibrant?
I look around today and do not see any instances of this happening, except through Walt Disney Movies.
Do you know anyone who would be by their wife as she went through such a transition in her life and then sweetly leave this earth the same time? That is true love.

i did but i was forced 2... i didnt enjoy it 4 more thn cus it was a romance movie. In my opinion it was a man stalking a hot woman.

Yeah, back then there were no stalking laws to worry about.
The man did his bes to woo his girl.
Do you think there was more innocence in that era than there is today and this is why their love was able to grow and stay together until the day they departed this world?

i do realise in that time period thre wre no laws for stalking but think about it the man is weird & doesnt directly speak 2 her 4 a while but seems 2 pop up where ever she is...dnt u think thts a bit creepy? he stops & looks @ her through a window!!! in todays society that man would probli b in gaol or doin community service!

It is really a wonderful movie! it's my favorite..i've watched it many times over and over again...and still got tears after watching. I think it is sill happening nowadays.. Hope it will happen to me..yikes!

Yeah i've seen the movie it's a great one.Unfortunately i don't believe it happens in real life.If it does than very rarely and no one ever talks about it.
But it such a great way to meet eachother and to find the true love.

well i don't if it really happens or something like that happened. but as to the movie, the story is quite different. it really shows how someone can sacrifice for the sake of his love one. how he can pretend to be happy even though he's very sad coz of what's happening to his wife. and to be forgotten by someone whom you love and who loves you really hurts.

The Notebook is one of the movies that top my list. Beautiful story, brilliant cast, breathtaking sceneries. This movie shows how powerful love is. We own the video now because we loved it so much!

I loved this movie. It made me bawl like a baby but to have someone love you they way he loved her. She wrote the story of their love but for him to read it to her and stick by her even though there's a chance she might not remember him is deep. It broke my heart when she remembered and he had her back and then she started freaking out b/c her disease kicked in. It was so sad!!
I do think love like that can exist today but it's not common. There is so much lying and cheating it's not funny but after going through liars and cheaters it makes you appreciate a real love that much more.
