Is being a passive and optimistic qualities of a person a bad thing? I mean I have both.Do you think these are reasons why I'm not much of an achiever?

Being passive means a lack of assertiveness, right? If you don't have it, you can actually train yourself to be one by practising it at home. If you successfully communicate your needs without being so demanding, then that's being assertive. Then it can be followed by what you think, or your suggestion. Being optimistic is more positive and is not a bad thing. It is always being hopeful, looking at the bright side of life. You can still achieve, but at your own pace. Study how your friends and colleagues have been successful in their careers--their traits, values, beliefs, even weaknesses. that would be a good way to start making a name for yourself.
