how did you meet your significant other? was it different?

My partner & i met at a country football match - it was the day after i got out of hospital after a major car accident! I was on crutches & had some major scars (they were still fresh) but it didn't seem to bother him! I don't think anyone ever sets out on a certain day to find a partner, if you did do that then you probably wouldn't find anyone - it's a fate thing i think - LOL! I only went to the football coz my best friend was playing & i had promised him that i would be there to watch the first game of the season! Everything worked out very well, we have been together for 9 years now & had our first baby girl just last year!

I met my husband online. I would have never thought I would have met someone on there but I did. He was new to the area and looking for friends and he happened to write me. It was on myspace and he just sent me a message asking me about the town and stuff. Well we started talking and haven't quit since then. The thing is I wasn't even looking for a relationship at the time.

Thats funny, I met my wife in a coffee shop also. I was with some friends of mine and she was with some friends of hers and some of my friends knew some of her friends and while they were talking I just started talking with her and the next thing I knew we were going out! I meet my boy friend just as other one's introduction , we talk with each other in cell phone and message . and we meet each other firstly at a park . I found him with good temper .

I met him in a mining company where I worked and where he worked too. We had a cheering competition, I was one of the cheerleaders. He sort of showed his interest in me, introduced himself. Thereafter, he started visiting me in our bunkhouse.. . and the rest is history. After almost 26 years, we are still very much married, with 2 grown up kids.

i met my hubby in work. her sister is my co-worker and he asked my number to her.we started texting then going out. now, were 2 years married.

I actually met my girlfriend in cyber cafe. we shared contact and started calling, sending mails and visiting each other. with time we were able to build this close friendship which actually made her to trust me about my intentions. So i guess it was only natural she accepted my request to go out with me

I had met my husband thru a friend that was dating his roomate. We had talked for like 3 weeks on the phone before we had met in person and we pretty much just fell for each other and we have been there since and have been married for a little over a year.
