I have a 13 month old son who still can't sleep through the night. He goes to bed alright, but always wakes up a few times a night to be fed. He nurses mostly, because he doesn't like to eat food very much. Especially baby food, yet he will eat some finger food. The problem is as soon as he cries I put him on my bed to feed him and he is there the rest of the night. My husband usually get kicked out, which of course isn't fair to him. And my son is a very restless sleeper he is consantly moving and fussing. I would appreciate any advice on this matter.

Hello
My son takes one nap a day and is usually up by 2pm. On the weekends he might sleep a little later. He doesn't have a problem going to sleep. He is also able to fall asleep unassisted. We can leave him in his crib awake and within a few minutes he is asleep. The problem is getting him to stay asleep.

I would recommend the book "The COmpletet Book Of Christian Parenting & Child Care" By Martha Sears and William Sears. It explains why children usually wake up at night. That they do it for a important reason usually.

I agree with suren20, and you can also mix a bottle with the cereal and give that as his last meal before bed and it will stay with him longer. Just make sure if you do have to get up with him put him back to bed that is a habit, for your husbands sake, you definitly don't want to start.
