I have heard a lot of people getting addicted to online games. Here in my country it is indeed all over the internet shops. It was even in the news because they are now using online games in gambling which i find not good. Students are more interested in playing the games than studying. Or am i wrong?
If you have kids, do you let them play online? if yes for how long? if no why?

Hello there! I am Angel from the Philippines. I am kinda addicted to one online game which is MU Philippines. It is a level-up game and is really addictive. When we put up our business which is an internet cafe back in 2003, my husband and I started trying out different online games so as to be able to relate to our customers who are mostly online gamers. Among all the games, we got hooked on MU. There are lots of challenges in the games that's why. It's how you calculate the build of your character, to reach the maximum level, in-game events, hunting, and upgrading the items. Another motivation is that we earn actual money from it because we can sell the good items that we are able to hunt into real money. We also gained a lot of friends through the game. I have a four year-old son and I let him play especially when he goes with us here in our shop. But he's fond only of playing kiddie games in Neopets and Starfall.com which are all educational games. I think it is helpful too as reinforcement of what I am teaching him and it is great because he doesn't get bored because of the interesting presentation made especially for kids.
