for me, the greatest book i've ever read was "the da vinci code". it was really a thrilling book and i found it hard to put down. i think i spent half of my day just sitting and reading that book. it was really worth skipping lunch for. the story was very interesting and the plot was amazing! what about you? what's the greatest book you've ever read? why?

I not intend to be rude, but i disagree. I've stopped reading Wheel of time at the secod book. The story seems too much like Tolkin but with a woman instead of a man. I didn't like the story at all.

the greatest book i've ever read is a true to life story. The books title is SYBIL. Its about a lady with multiple personalities, not just split personality. This one has 16 personalities and it took 10 long years to make her whole. Amazing and yet tragic if you think about the things she had to go through as a child which resulted into having split personalities.

The best novel book I read is Celestine Prophecy. It's a novel but you can try the virtue moral from the novel, and it's true. The story is about man who search nine insight to make him a better living person. The second best is Angel and Demon by Dan Brown. It's way more thrilling than Da Vinci Code.

On of the greatest book I've read is Lord of the rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. The book is the beginning of the fantasy genre. It's the precursor of Role Playing games (like dungeons and dragons) and whitout this book, the fantasy genre would not have been invented.
