We know that a few of them have been destroyed, one of them at great cost to Dumbledore. With Harry not returning to Hogwarts, one wonders how difficult it will be to not only find but to destroy.

there are totally seven hoxcruxes. one is voldmort himself. two the book of riddle was destroyed. three the ring was also destroyed. four the locket probably destroyed by RAB. five hufflepuffs cup not destroyed. six one of ravenclaw or griffendor which is not destroyed, probably that of ravenclaw because voldemort could not get the sword of griffendor. seven is the snake nagini not destroyed.
even seven hoxcruxes is a guess work of dumbledore. so there may be more or less or exactly seven hoxcruxes. ofcourse finding and destroying hoxcruxes is a great deal difficult. but we are going to have a full book explaining about it.
