celebrate !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What made today great for you?

1. I got to watch the episode I missed due to recording error on Survivor...at their website. They list all the full episodes there for viewing. Awesome!!! 2. I got to talk to my sister/best friend on the phone today. And she helped me through an allergic reaction to the weeds I was pulling while we were on the phone. ha ha Wow! That was painful!!!

Okay, I have one today, although it happened last evening, it has me smiling today. Last night my boyfriend and I went out for dinner and a few drinks to watch the baseball game on the big screen television, when we arrived home the counter and floor that I had cleaned so hard yesterday was littered with a huge bag of dog food opened on the counter with other miscellaneous items from his 18 year old son, I was disgusted needless to say since I had spent so much time and he carelessly had it as mess. We went bed, and I was disgusted and was complaining to him about his son at least showing me some respect when I clean the house. My boyfriend left the bedroom took the big bag of dog food and interrupted him with his girlfriend in our Barn and expressed to him that dog food does not have a place in our house especially when I cleaned it so nicely for us and that he needed to go pick up his belongings on the counter and not do it again. I was so proud of my boyfriend for standing up for me, it truly showed that he loved me and wanted me to be happy and would go to any length to do it, so today I am thrilled to have such a wonderful man in my life that loves me so much.

I'm glad to be suckin air! When i read posts like this one, i remember to count my many blessings. Especially the many small little blessings! Take care Eskarena1.

heheh--I'm trying to keep my sense of humor...but if you take a peek at my discussion--Need Your Prayers--Help you'll understand why I'm not celebrating today-

it was great... i enjoyed work because of mylot! i work in a callcenter and while taking calls, i also repond to my friends' discussions and also post new ones. ;)

My day is great because I was able to spend it with my mom and dad. We ate lunch out and my dad shopped something for me. It's sweet cos we haven't had time for "dates" like this since campaign started.

Well, it is almost 7 p.m. here for me. We are just getting ready to eat a late dinner, and I am in here posting in myLot. Today has been a wonderful day. No real Surprises for me. I am Thankful for having every day to wake up too, and Praise God for his many blessings in my life. I also have a wonderful husband and friends who care about me, and let me know just how much every day.

I made money from my new Client, and the day was simply beautiful for walking... Nuthin' but blue skies and maybe a little sprinkle or two, and nobody even bothered to ask me for money... Come to think of it, I have a lotsa days like that! :) I'm beginning to think that Nature might have a slight "crush" on me! LOL! :)

This is why my Saturday was special. I talked to my husband early in the morning, just before he boarded the plane to come home. He was in Rhodos for a short conference. Greece is basically a hop away from Austria, but it still took him some 8 hours to fly back! With the help of a hotel employee he managed to find the fish market and was bringing back some gigantic prawns, of which he was most proud! He was only away for 4 nights, but we always enjoy it when he returns from a trip! We have problems finding seafood, so these Greek prawns were most welcome! I went to the market for some fruit and veggies and to the supermarket in the afternoon for some supplies and really enjoyed the outings. It is sunny and warm now and Spring is definitely here now with all its colour and energy. My husband arrived in the early evening, happy to see that the prawns survived the trip and the security controls! They were still half frozen when they got here and I boiled them with some onion, bay leaf and garlic, as my recipe book suggested. They inmediately turned pink, a most welcome colour in my kitchen! The taste was just fabulous, accompanied by a sauce my 14 year old son prepared and the freshly baked bread! The rhubarb I bought in the market made a nice dessert with ice-cream and I found out that the next trip will be to Mexico lindo!

When I woke up this morning, it was grey and the weatherman said it would rain all day. But that's ok... Then my door bell rang and as I opened it, I heard "clang, bang" - the sound of my friend missing the step again. He sat down and watched me as I got started making coffee. Then he started complaining about hockey. Great, I thought, its bad enough getting kick-started, he could at least be a little more light-hearted. Finally, when he was about to leave, (I couldn't help feeling a bit releaved) he gave me the best gift I could receive. "Remember,"he said, "great things come when you believe" This is a poetic version of what happened this morning....I hope my artistic talent makes you smile.

The day just started, but what's made it great so far was waking up and seeing one of the loves of my life, my 5 year old daughter! She amazes me every day and I can't imagine life without her!
