This does not surprise me. Many people in Europe feel the same way. Building high walls around a ghetto is just turning the West BAnk & Gaza into massive concentration camps. The idea of guards not allowing Palestinians access to parts of the country is just as sectarian as Hitlers behaviour towards the Jews.
If it wasn't so sad and depressing, it would be ironic.
My thoughts and hopes are with the PAlestinians forced to live under these conditions. I hope that soon the moderate Israeli Jews will gain power, and remove this fascist government that is blighting the world.

Here I would like to point out to the hypocracy that is present in the west, mainly the USA and the UK. These two countries pretend to stand at the forefront when it comes to human rights and justice. But their standards are very different for the Muslim and the non-Muslim world. Such news where the atrrocities by non-muslims are exposed make way to their media very rarely but on the contrary, when some Muslim does something wrong, which is a retaliation to the atrocities done against them in most cases, the western media highlights it and creates public awareness and helps prejudice against the Muslim world. This double standard can now also be seen among their people. This thread for instance, has been posted for almost a month now, but has hardly seen any responses. Had it been a news involving some Muslim fanatics, the scenario would have been much different. Do you really think there is huge difference between the quality and color of the blood of Muslims and the non-Muslims? Is your media doing a right job?

Naseem..I would say dont believe anything that media gives these days. We now have so many tools we can tamper any evidence to show what we want to see. So what we cant confirm in person physically, should best be taken as engineered stuff intended to provoke action.
Take for example..German Bishops would not visit that place for two reasons. First, Bishops would side Christianity against Muslims. Secondly, Germans are still feeling bad about what happened to Jews and ashamed at their silence or inability to do anything out of fear, or ignorance. Third thing, they would feel as insecure in Jerusalem, as Jews would on German soil.

Naseem..we can never say who is saying what with which ulterior motive. Perhaps this is the case of Germans trying to get even with Jews for the amount of bad name it got them? A mind seeking truth should always..ALWAYS question, and when the mind does not come up with a factual stuff, surrender it to god for god alone can offer us the required technology to ascertain the truth. Or god alone can be the one who punishes.
Personally if my baker who is a Aga Khan Muslim is good to me, and a few nice friends whom I have known since more than 10 odd years, are good to me, and in contrast, my own people are not good to me, then I'd be more inclined to say Hindus are bad and muslims are good. It depends as I mentioned elsewhere..there are good and bad people in every religion. I might be the unfortunate one who is surrounded by bad folks, most of them didnt realize they were being bad till it was spelt out to them. Others may have only good people around them. So impression varies from acquaintances and contacts and composition of the social circle. This is the reason we should not take anybody else's opinion about a religion or country as default right or wrong thing. We should stick to what we know for certain to be truth. Corrective motion will follow in due course.
