can they accquire our planet ?

Recently a planet has been discovered by the scientits which is most like our sweet Earth. The scientits are expecting that there might be lives in that planet. I also agree with that. There might be lives. But i become frightened when i think, if the lives on that planet be more powerfull than us then they could accquire our planet for there own purpose and we will be completely abolished. what do u think about this ?
