What if he said...?

I think that is really cruel and not a joke. If you love somebody you don't joke about things like that. And if you don't after hearing that I would not be with that guy because I would know that he is not serious about me and he doesn't really love me.

Don't take it to seriously. It sounds like he was only joking. If he honestly didn't want to have kids but not with you do you think he wound really be with you. Or do you think he would tell you that if he was serious? That is a very hurtful thing to tell someone (if they were not joking) My opinion is it was a joke.

I would certainly feel so bad and if it is a joke it is a very bad one. A boyfriend who says that to a girl, joke or not, certainly doesn't have high regard for the girl because if he has he won't tell her such a lousy and bad tasting joke. But jokes like that did come from somewhere, his subconscious maybe? And something that any girl should give pause and ponder on.

It would depend on the relationship itself. If the guy i wa with was always a messer and joking around, then yes i would take it as i joke. But ,aybe if he was a real serious person and this just came out, i would probably be a bit worried.
