When you break off a long term relationship, which had progressed to the betrothal stage, do you return the ring to the fiancee'? Do you keep it if you are the jilted party but return it if you are the juiltee? Are you one of those types of girls that regardless of how the break comes about you are not going to return gold and diamonds. (girls two bestest friends!)
I personally resolved to return the ring to my ex even though he ware the one who broke of the engagement so in the eyes of the law in my state means that he is not entitled to his ring back. Also all of mty friends told me tho hold on to it, in case of a rainy day. Either waqy, I resoned that if he were ballsy enough to ask for it back I would return it. He never did so neither did I.

I am not engage yet. But If that would happen to me, I would certainly return the ring. Don't want to retain something that would just make me remember bad memories.

Not all of the memories are bad, if they had been I wouldn't have felt the way that I do.

It's just stuff. We all like stuff.
If your man broke it off ....then the ring is yours.
If you broke it off then ya need to return it.
Don't worry about what the LAW say's..
something might be legal but not moraly right.
Follow your heart and not your mind.
The man who has your mind ,will ,and emotions .
(Your soul),will have your heart....That man will be your KING.
And the same back, you'll be his Queen.
It is what it is.

Actually I always give the sh**t back ...i dont want anything more to do with them so i dont want their stinkin ring either ...i mean you wont get more than 40.00 for it if ya pawn it ... so its not worth anything ... and do you really want to be reminded ... it probably (the ring) has his energy all over it and i just like to get on and over it all and move on ...if he happens to give it to someone else well hes just a big loser anyway ...

He's a big loser either way. I am better off without him. Just used to wearing it and haven't gotten around to taking it off.

To return it I would have to see him again and I don't wanna do that. That hurts too. I don't care to hurt anymore or to cause myself additional pain by seeing him again.
