I am just wondering whether this helps to earn more on mylot ??

Hello,samrat,honestly,I do not know how much those people can earn,may be they earn more,we will never know unless you try it,lol. But honestly, I think earning in mylot is still based on the replies more than discussions you have started or replies you received,may be you earn few cents more by starting few more discussions,buy you may also do this by replying few more discussions. Anyway,different people have different posting stule and I respect their styles, but one thing is sure that is my email account will be full quickly if everyone in my list start ten or twenty a day.

I'm one of those you’re talking about, I started about 10 discussions yesterday, and I got between 3-9 response to each, at the same time I posted yesterday about 43 post (10 discussions included), and today I just earned 0.89$ that mean I got 2 cent per every post or discussion and I've 3 cent for images, so I'll try today not to start any discussion and see tomorrow, if they give me 2 cent for post or not. Hi Sam, I think that these members are doing this to get there points over the 500 limit maybe. But it is best to send out about 4-6 discussions and then concentrate on responding to others as this is where they will make more money by responding to other discussions than sending out more discussins.

My personal opinion is that if the person is starting too many discussions each day that's a form of spamming. If I notice that they not only start a lot of discussions but don't reply to many of other people's discussions, then they're not someone I want to bother with. Very often, the people who start a lot of discussions every day are copying and pasting, and if they do get replies, they don't respond.

hi , samrat. I don't know how much people able to earn a day. I just heared that sometimes they earn 1$ and more /day.wow! And i always have the same question asyou ask now - how it is possible to earn much and how it means much if u earn a day? Usually I start 1-2 new discussions a week. I haven't much of time spend here in mylot. I am here two monthes and just some days before I get minimum for my e-gold - means 10$:) But other my friends are too active here, and everyday i find in my mailbox a lot of new messages about discussipons they started...unfortunately i haven't enough of time to respond every of them as soon as it would be pleasant for them. Maybe they spend here whole days...unfortunately i haven't such possibility. It was one weekend, when I could saty onine big part of day, and I earned just about 0.52$ ... I know, that earnings deppend of how much of referrals u have, means u must invite your friends to join myLot, then u will receive as bonus from teir earnings. Also earnings deppend of new discussions u start, of rating (as i always rate every discussion or comment of my friends positive) . oh, i think u will receive much of advices about this problem:) I will read them curiously too:) Wish u the best luck here! Participation is a huge factor, they've helped me earn. I guess it's based on how much participation you actually put into mylot. I have over 6 dollars and I'm only 3 weeks old. So yes I'm sure it would help earn more. Just participate.

I think maybe if they are quality discussions than maybe those ten discussions would help a person earn more. But when they are just one liner questions, or will generate a one word response I don't think those ten will help a person at all earn something. I don't admire those people that start five to ten discussions daily. I, myself am happy with just a one or two quality discussions posted daily than having to wade through the one line question discussions. It would make things hard to keep up with the discussions.

I think you should answer as many post and give quality answers.One or two line answers do not earn much.I always answer post that i can give a quality answer too,and i always try to at least answer 10 lines,and i make good off of those..As far as starting a new discussion,it should be quality too.Not just something stupid like how many times do you wash you hair,know what i mean? not to many people will answer a post like that.I have found out of all my friends i can maybe find 10 or 12 per day that is good post,so i answer those and i can make good on that many answers...Mylot likes a good long answer,that earns you money.Also always rate your friends post....and also adding images will make you money..also you need to tag your discussions that you answer so that ir can be put into the subject it goes in.If you do this you will do good.

I don't feel there is nothing to admire about start 10 discussions. I had seen people starting 200 discussions a day. Not always, but it gives the impression that you are spamming. Usually, we put quality and quantity at 2 extreme ends of the same scale. It is hard to have both at the same time. Not impossible, not hard. My take is that discussions do not really earn money. These people, by flooding the place with discussions still earn - but that's because a discussion is treated like a response in the sense of post count. When you post a discussion, your rating does not go up. But as soon as the first guy replies, your rating goes up by one. So for this people who flood the place with discussions, it is so much easier to post one-liner discussions than look through a discussion and think of something relevant to say. When they flood 200 discussions and 100 get answered by at least 1 person, their rating goes up by 100. Using the same amount of time spent, it is hard for another person to match with 100 RESPONSES. That's why we should always report these despicable one-liner flooders who are spamming. If everyone does the same as him (since it is so much easier to increase your rating and thus earnings this way), there will be no one left to answer genuine discussions started by people such as yourself. After all, myLot is supposed to be a forum for discussions.

I can't tell any difference in earnings from the days that I have discussions, and the days I don't. That may be because I don't get that many responses. At least I'm earning from responding to discussions. It's ok if someone on my friend list starts 19 discussions, but I might not be able to respond to all of them right away.

Mylot is nearing 90,000 members, and if everyone started 10 discussions a day the system would crash. I really think they should limit the number of discussiona a person can start. as it is no one can possibly have time to go through all discussions. I don't know if you make any money from starting discussions or not but I read that you get credit for the first response in your discussion. I really don't know how this pay system works at all. I think the discussions would get better responses if the number of them were limited.

Dear Samrat I am just 3 weeks old here and I don't know much about mylot .. In the beginning .. I started many discussions becuase I didn't knew much about earning .. but when I saw my earnings page -- then I came to know that I am not earning much with my discussions but -- when I respond to discussions I earned more .. so these days I am not starting much discussion and when I start some discussion I used to think hard -- that it should atleast catches someone's attention otherwise there is no use of starting a discussion.. One more thing I would like to say here -- I am learning a lot from you.. Your discussions are truely A graded ... I rated you + for your discussion :)

Hi Samrat. I don't think that someone who is posting 10 new discussions per day is going to earn more. We don't know how exactly myLot pays out, but from our experiences we can have a good guess. In my short time here and from reading what others say, I have learned that it is all about participation. I think that it pays better to join in others conversations and post just a few new conversations that are not the same as ones that already exist. That way, there is no spamming of the system and it is equally increasing participation across the board. I don't really admire 10 new discussions unless they are all very interesting.

I am not fan or posting a discussion i usually respond only to some discussions here.I have my friend here who posts many discussion and i admire him very much because he enjoy staying here and he is a member here for a long time.

I do not think it makes that much of a difference. there are people that like to repond more and there are people that relate more to opening posts. I know that it effects your earning if you open a good post and you have more then ten responses to it, then you will be paid for each response. I do not think there are any rules about the number of posts that should be opened each day. If they are Quality posts then it is ok.

I am not really into creating discussions. It largely depends on my mood. I believe, we earn by posting discussions.

Well, I am a working person, so I am not able to devote the amount of time on mylot, as much as I want to. Owing to this, I am able to start a discusion once in every two days or so. But the thing is I have people on friends list, who start about 10 to 12 discussions every day. I dont know whether it helps to earn or not, but it makes me hell lot of busy. I mean people do not respond to discussions that I have started , but yes they have ample of time to start about more than ten discussions every day. This really disappoints me.

In my opinion,start a discussion which has many replys may make you earn more money,but I do not admire that.Because I do not have too many things to discuss,I like responding to others especially to my friends,I just want to share my thoughts with them.

SamRat16, I too have been wondering the same thing. And I only started here I think 4 days ago and am now over 50 discussions posted. I am now finally over $1.00 in earnings, but under $5.00. I do my best to at least post 3-4 discussions per day, but with my 17 month old twins, it is not always easy to break away and post something. Most of my posts will be in the evening and then, when I have to time to post, I have to think of something to discuss...
