Poor Brady Quinn

Poor Brady Quinn! What was Miami thinking? Why did they pass on him in their first round pick? The commissioner let him hang out in a private area away from the cameras...the Brown's came in to his "rescue" at the 22nd pick and gave up their 2nd round pick and first round pick for 2008. Do you think that was the best thing for them? Do you think Miami was smart to pass on Quinn?

I think that Miami will not miss Brady Quinn very much as I feel that he is overrated and will not be a star quarterback in the league. I think that is why he dropped so low because other teams felt that he was not that good and they had more important needs to fill other than the quarterback position. Brady wanted to play in Cleveland and he got his wish, though it was later than he expected. There are other quality quarterbacks in the draft that Miami can grab so they will be okay or they can trade for one.

Well, they picked one up in second round, right? I think that Quinn was pumped up a little much, but it seemed as if Miami was attempting to grab him and then fell on that. You could see the disappointment all over his face.

It will take some time to find out if Miami made the right move... Think about the current quarterback situation... the names of Culpepper and Lemon don't inspire any real confidence... and even if they are able to make a deal for Trent Green, he's one hit away from retirement. You want a young quarterback... but let's see how it plays out. The Dolphins could still get KOlb from BYU, Stanton from MSU, or Edwards from Stanford, all highly rated quarterbacks who could be good in the NFL and who scouts are pretty big on... I think the Browns are the perfect situation. Hometown guy, grew up a Browns fan, and he's got an elite OT in Joe Thomas (3rd overall pick). He'll have the support of the entire team, tej front office, and the fans...

I'll definetly be watching the Browns to see if Quinn was all he was hyped up to be. I agree with you about Green and that's why I was so shocked when they didn't grab a qb in the first round. Besides, I was very shcoked who they picked up and the explanation they gave Dolphin's camp when they made the announcement. A returner. Big deal. I was glad to see that Miami picked up a qb in their next pick.

Miami's loss is the Brown's gain. Brady Quinn has already proven he is going to make an impact, now the question is when. Has for the Dolphins, well now they have Trent Greene has their QB. Not to bad of a staeting QB, I've personally always liked this guy. Although I have'nt heard great things about him for this season. I personally think the Dolphins messed up not taking Quinn, but like I said their loss is the Brown's gain.
