Okay. I heard that there has been a lot of talk about Chicago trying to pick up a quarterback in the draft. Or at least a lot of people asking Lovey if it would be smart to pick up a qb today or tomorrow. What do you think? Do you think they will use their first round pick for that purpose or do you think they will go for some other offensive line position?

Well aparently the bears made a great choice to get Garret Wolfe, I hate Cedric Benson! So I would wish they would get somebody for him like a QB...Have Garret Wolfe or Adrien Peterson Start at RB, Let Desmond Clark start. Try and make Olsen a WR. That would be genius. Just my thoughts

The Bears signed Chris Leak as a free agent. I also think Lovey has invested a lot in Rex Grossman and still has faith in him. It would be nice to see the Chicago Bears with a reliable quarterback, but I think Lovey will continue working with Rex. When Rex is good, he's really good, but IMO he's still way too unpredictable, unfortunately. After finally having played a full season, I would have expected him to stop making so many rookie mistakes. Still, Lovey Smith is a great coach, so I guess I'll have to defer to his judgment... Having said all that, I'd be surprised to see the Bears draft a quarterback.

I suppose you're right. I do appreciate Lovey and he has really shaped things up. I just wish Grossman would get his head in the game. Last season he just seemed to be elsewhere most of the time. He seemed to not be concerned by his actions, or lack of. I hope things straighten out at camp and that we're on our way to a championship again.

Lets see who is sick of Rex Grossman being named the elite quaterback with no one being able to challenge for the position. Also what about the trade for Donovan Mcnabe for Lance Briggs. Are we persuing a trade or do they believe that Rex is the future because of what I saw in the second half of the season when teams have cought on to Rex and game plabnned for him, his ratings went down the tubes and did not step up to the challenge. He is not exactly young. this will be his 4th year. Do we continue to let that window of a super bowl contention go down the drain next year because the team is ready to win now. If you can get a quaterback that is potential to be great when healthy and proven, you take it. Instead of letting your team down with a quaterback with an average rating of 1.3.
