do you like to travel more in the spring or in the summer?

It was brutality humid during my stay in North Carolina so I may enjoy traveling more in the spring when it is not quite as hot. I still had a good time on my trip but the humidity was really bad. I sweat a lot when it is too hot and humid. Seeing the flowers bloom and the trees grow their leaves is nice as well as going for pleasant walks at the park and doing other outdoor activities.

Ken, I think the same time that is was brutally hot in North Carolina it was here too. I suffer much in the summer here since my apartment has but one little air conditioner and doesn't seem to cool but the one location it is at: the kitchen: LOL
Travelling in the spring or fall can be beautiful besides refreshingly cool. Perhaps next time you will travel in the fall:)+

I'm with you. It gets so very hot in the summer, I would prefer to travel when it's not quite so hot in the spring, or when it's starting to cool down in the fall. Even though you're in a car with air conditioning (hopefully!), it's still very weary-ing to get in and out of the car in intense hot weather, and wait for that A/C to cool down the car, etc.
BUT, if you're talking about traveling for vacation, then I'm not too fussed either way. After all, a hot and tiring day on vacation will usually beat the best day at work, right?

I agree. And, even if you do have air conditioning, travelling when gas is so high can be expensive. Air conditioning causes you to use gasoline faster.

I agree the cooler seasons are nice for traveling; if we must go by car.

Yes you are right..for how you wish to assess it. I like the spring or fall for travel. Not summer.

Well, it really depends on how a person is traveling. If by Plane, or automobile. But if by Automobile, I prefer traveling in the Spring or Fall anytime. The weather is cooler, and the Newness or changing of the colors is an awesome site to see as well.

I have my desire to fly since all the terrorism problems began.. I sooner drive a great distance and make it a site seeing trip then fly..so my trips would preferrably be in the cooler climate.

Hello,it really depends on which countries I am going to. If I am traveling within Australia,I prefer the summer time,I like sunshine, and I can go to the beaches in the summer time when I can see many people at that time, in spring, there may not ba many people at the beaches as the water is too cold.
