"Discussions, Friends and myLot?"

Everyone of us have different interests. I usually answers the discussions based on my interests. And when i see that the discussion is good and interesting, i try to contribute to them, and answering someone that is needing for help, but mostly i like to do topics on my own. Do you answer all the discussions your friends posted? How do you feel if you have a lot of friends in your profile and no one even cares to respond to your topics? This is usually what happens. So i want to hear from you guys, what kind of discussions do you prefer to answer? Don't be hesitated to share what you feel, let it out=)

I feel kinda of bad, seeing that my friends are there on the list but dont come respond to my topics. Anyway, I try to reply most of them, some are too random so I can not even reply to that. =P I usually reply discussions on my interests, be them set or not on the interests page. Sometimes I jump into a random discussion, if I feel I have something to add to it. The way that myLot was designed is great for this "let's keep to my interests but I want to join a random discussion sometimes". Love it.

So i there conclude that, just do the thing that you feel like doing and you are happy about you know. But don't feel bad about that, just accept the fact that maybe your topics are not their interests or maybe they don't know something about that, just think positive. So well, enjoy the site. Thanks for the share=)

I take it on the bright side, but I do think that "friends" should be renamed to something else... Who doesn't help you isn't exactly your friend, huh? =P And yes, I understand most of my discussions dont get a lot of replies because they are somehow to specific. But some are not and I don't understand why friends dont help me on that. =P

I have 63 friends in my list and am lucky if my discussions receive 10 responses. I have no problem with that though as I know that not everyone is going to be interested in what I have to say every time. It's also why I don't feel guilty about not responding to all of my friends discussion. There are just some posts that I either know nothing about, or are just not that interesting to me.

Yeah, that's right. Everyone of us have different interests, and sometimes don't even have time but the thing is that's your freedom so theres no body else to tell you what to do except for your self. Thanks for the share=)

I would say, just keep your self on the flow, that's how it goes... but, still you have the right to choose your own actions though, just stick to what you do which you are happy about. Thanks for the share=)

I unlike many people don't take this site too seriously. I am on here Daily and I try to get to as many of my friends as I can. It is not always easy depending on what my goals are her for that day. As to when I post and get a poor response, That's just how it goes. I don't get angry or hurt because all of my friends did not respond. I don't respond to every question my friends post both because the subject does not interest me or I just do not have enough time that day Regarding what kind of questions I prefer to answer my interests are varied but if I had to choose a single topic that would be fishing.

I go to my friends list first. That doesn't mean I respond to each and every discussion that they start either because some of the discussions are not something I am interested in. I have a lot of people in my friends list but just a handful respond to my discussions. It doesn't bother me but I will turn my notify off on those people. Then if I come across a discussion of theirs and I am interested than I will respond. It doesn't bother me but the plain and simple fact is that if they can not respond to my discussions at least once in awhile than why should I respond to theirs. This is not said in anger or even in irritation but it is just a simple fact.

I know, and that's the plain truth about that. Everybody does that, configure the notify thing, and answer the discussions you're interested into, that's your right though. I feel the same way as you do, if they don't bother to respond even single word on any of my discussions, why should i bother too, i am not being rude or anything, it's just how i feel about it. I am more onto making my own discussions, but i do replying for discussions for sometimes that's why in two months time, i still got a low number of post. Thanks for the share=)

Just like you I answer discussions based on my interests. But sometimes, I set things like for this day I'll respond to my friends' discussions, then the next days discussions with no responses, discussions from my interests and so on so fort. I don't focus on top's discussions or hot topics only. Sometimes, there are days where I really don't respond to any discussions at all, I just upload pictures under things that interests me.

I try to respond to as many of my friends discussions as possible, but sometimes they don't apply. For example, they might post a question asking about a certain television show that I don't watch, so I don't real feel like I have anything to contribute to that discussion. But when I log in every day I usually try to answer as many discussions as I can that apply to me, because I like helping people out! I do have a decent number of people on my friends list, and I also have quite a few discussions with very few responses. I suppose it doesn't really bother me all that much, maybe people aren't responding because they just don't really have an answer to my question/topic. I'm also pretty sure that quite a few of my friends are inactive.

I used to go through my discussion my friends started and if I found anything interesting discussion then I respond to that discussion.. Some of my friends used to start discussion with one liners .. and I try to avoid that discussions. I don't care much that my friends are replying to my discussion or not .. it's their choice .. might be my discussion is not good that's y they are not taking part in it :) .. I just want to live happy not thinking about these small things

friend, when it comes to me i better go either wid my interests or my mood, which is pretty random in nature ;)...... i prefer go for tht discussion which needs to be discussed for ex: some latest developmnt in the country which has an impact on all of us, by this way u can contribute to ur society in which u r living, isnt it? also sometimes fun loving stuff works too for me :)

Everyone has different interests. It is good to have friends with similar interests. That is not always going to be the case because you might have friends that have one or two interests in common and others very different. That seems fine to me, and is the diversity of life. I would try to join in as many of my friends discussions I can, time permitting, but prioritising the ones I am most interested in. If my friends join in my topics, this makes me happy and I would do the same for them. Sometimes a topic will interest different people and you can make new friends this way. I wouldn't expect all of my friends to join in every topic. I do like to look at the subjects that I am interested in as well, and join in those subjects too. Best wishes. :)

I'm new here so I don't have many friends yet, but I hope that changes soon :). If anyone wants to be my friend feel free to send me a request! I'll be sure to participate in as many of your discussions as possible.
