I go to our local "racino" (race track with slot machines) quite often. Currently, I am really into a game called Kingpin Bowling, a 25 line penny machine. I also really like Super Shrimpin' Sally, another penny game with 15 lines. When I play quarters, I love the Double Wild and Loose machines. They're old-fashioned, single-lined one-armed bandits that spit out coins when you win, and have lovely loud bells when you hit jackpot.
I've noticed they've come out with 50 line and even 100 line games. I don't like these, because you're betting 50 cents or a dollar each time, but it gives you lots of 2, 5, or 10 credit wins. Your money bleeds away even faster! I guess the manufacturers count on people not thinking about the fact that 2 credits per line is a dollar bet with 50 lines. There are better machines to play if you want to bet a dollar each time, with bigger payouts.

i agree with you that 50 or 100 line games are bad. even with the 15 line games i have trouble knowing which ways i can win.
i love to play flip flop. i like the bonus game of hopping the frog from lilly pad to lilly pad for prizes.
i also like texas tee where the extra game you choose oil wells and see how much oil they pump up for your prize.
do you have a casino near you? i have to drive about 2 1/2 hours to the closest casino here.

Unfortunately, our local racino is a ten minute drive from our house. I have had to learn to squelch the impulse to "drop in for a minute", because my gambling budget isn't big like that!
I like flip-flop too, althogh I haven't had much luck getting the lilly pad bonus recently. Flip flop is a ten-cent machine at Delaware Park, and I usually play one or two for all 9 lines. I was with a friend playing flip-flop a couple of months ago, and we were laughing and carrying so much that I didn't realise I was hitting the max bet key instead of repeat the bet. That's an $18 bet! I didn't notice what had happened until I got the lilly pad bonus and every one I touched was worth over 1,000 credits. I won over $650 on that bonus, pretty cool for an accident.
