When I got my last cat, a funny thing happened. It felt more natural to talk to him in the language I talked most as a child, which is not my stronger language at the moment.
What language do you speak with your pet??
If you can speak several languages, which one do you choose??
Have you any theory why you choose that language??

I talk to my cat in my own language LOL it's not English or not even my mother language. It seems I invent a new language when I talk to her and she seems to understand hehehe of course this makes everyone else confused :)

Hello,i get a dog at home, sometimes I will talk with it in english, I will ask it to keep quiet or tell it when it is the time for meal,it seems that it can understand me when it is the meal time, everytime when i ask me whether it is hungry or not,it will come near me and wiggle its tail,it is so cute.

Yes I talk to my cats and dogs,horses,plants...I believe that every living thing needs to hear your voice.I talk like I'm talking to a person.I speak to them in English..I do not speak any other languages very well so that's why I speak English most of the time.
