Getting Back Into A Workout Routine

I am so unmotivated about exercising right now. I stopped working out while I was nursing a severe cold-and now I can't seem to get back into my routine again. Has anyone else gone through this? What did you do to snap out of it? The weather's getting warmer and I want to tone up for my swimsuit and shorts and tanks. Any ideas or inspiration/motivation would be extremely appreciated.

You have to just do it. It's hard. I broke my weekly run routine 2 or 3 weeks back (see? I even lost track already) and I still can't find the determination to get it back. I am as lost as you are there right now. :(

Something very similar happened to me a few months back. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and was ordered by my doc to lose weight. I started exercising regualrly and lost 20lbs in a little over a month. I then got a bad case of the flu which took about 10 days to recover from. I haven't been back since and have gained all the weight back...that is enough of a motivation for me to get back at it again starting next week....why not get a swimsuit that doesn't quite fit at the moment and hang it in a place where you'll see it every day and workout until you are able to fit into it...pretty unoriginal but it's a thought.
