are you engaged to be married? do you wear you're ring all the time?

When I had an engagement ring (in a previous relationship), I wore it almost all the time, but I would take it off when I slept, so that it didn't slide off my finger and get lost. I also took it off when I went to the gym and when I was doing dishes, for the same reasons. I think that your concern about mixing gold and silver is a valid one as well. I think that if I get an engagement ring, I'm going to ask for a silver one, because all the other jewelry I wear is silver.

I think as long as your reasons for not wearing it all the time are for things besides cheating, etc. then take it off whenever you want. I take mine off to shower and sometimes forget to put it back on (And I've been married for almost two years) but I don't race home for it. I continue my day without it on. I used to not like mixing colors of metals together also but I have grown to like it. If done right, it can look really nice. I also bought a couple of pieces that were mixed colors together so that adding the seperate yellow or white pieces made sense.

I am not married,and I dont' think I will wear my ring after wedding all the time. Maybe I will wear several months,but I will not wear it always . firstly, it is not safe and it is easy to lose . secondly, it is hard to do house work wearing it . and then I really don't like wear that things . No matter what the color is , I will not wear it, I think.
