ear candling

anyone ever go to a spa or an alternative medicine type of place and have ear candling done? i am thinking of doing it and just wondering if anyone has done it before and what you think of it. do you think it helped? did you feel that you were more balanced after it was done? i need feedback. thanks!!

I was all set to do it after many people recommended it (even may allergist said it would be ok), but then a few people said that you can burn your eardrum and that it's potentially dangerous so I nixed the idea....still somewhat interested, though.

i have done it mama and it is really good! and you can see all the dirty stuff in the ear come out. i would have wanted to do it again but they stopped offering that service. and i don't know where else to avail of it. all the other spas in our city don't offer it.

I haven't had it done so I can't help you with that but my aunt does ear candling and she has said it is really popular and people come back to get it done all the time once they go once because it works great.Hope that helped a bit.
