Tupac was the best rapper. His words and rhythm is still unmatched. If you look at works like Still I Rise and Black Messiah, Tupac was ahead of his time. His demons followed him wherever his went and he was unable to shake them. If he were alive today, he would be acting and have become a world leader.
He was the epitome of the African American experience, talented but troubled, being a black man in a anti black world.
I remember his words in the Black Messiah,"The Pressure knows indefinite fail, some missing soulsturn to hoes when exposed to jail, In times of war we need somebody raw, who can rally the troops, like a saint we can trust to help carry us through". Black Jesus".
Tupac was a black prince. Will we fight for our strength and power or act like scared sissys? Now is the time to make something happen. I will go down fighting.

Tupac made his mark in his time, and he was a great lyricist/rapper. But me personally being into music, I don't think he was the *Best* of all time or his time, because during his time there was BiGGie..
Was Tupac good yes, of course but in my opion bot the best!

Tupak was the best of his day, but have you listened to the symmetry and artistry of Eminem? You may not like what he has to say but he is phonetically perfectly semmetrical. Tupak and Eminem did a couple of tracks together and they were bad a$$! There really is no way to say that any one or another artist is "the best" It is completely subjective.

Yes. Without a doubt. No one in The history of Hip-Hop has affected some many people world wide such as pac did with his words. He spoke from his heart and he related to people on a "human level"; like giving you the best of him and also the worst of him as we all do at times. No one is perfect, and niether was he, but he never acting like he was, and for those of us that really listened to his every word, we know that he left us a lot of knowlegede and a sense that we are not alone in our fears, anger, rage, sensitivity, doubts, and happiness. LONG LIVE THE JESUS OF MY GENERATION.... TUPAC 6/16/1971. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

No question he was the greatest. His lyrics were so profound and heart felt. The depth of each line in his songs was so incredible.
