Do you prefer to use a hankerchief or tissue paper?

I remember that the older guys tend to carry handkerchiefs. They'd use it to wipe their mouths after meals and to wipe their sweat. These days though, it seems that many young guys are opting to use tissue paper. Perhaps due to hygiene reasons, I guess.
I remember most ladies would use tissue paper and never handkerchiefs.
Do you prefer a handkerchief or tissue paper? Why? Please share your stories. Thanks. :)

i prefer a hanky because i tend to sweat all the time and then when i tend to wipe my sweat with tissue, the tissue sticks to my face and i tend to look like a paier mache art work. :P

making use of a hankerchief, they r very soft in using but the tissues r very hard and i have to find a place to throw them after use.we can reuse a hanky after washing it with detergent.

When I am young I used to carry handkerchiefs but latter as I grow older and there are once my friends ask me for a tissue and I don't have it. I can't just give him / her my handkerchief and from that days on for the rest of my school life I am carrying both handkerchief and tissue. I used to use handkerchief for wiping sweat and tissue is for after meals. The reason why I use handkerchief to wipe sweat it is because it is much durable to wipe sweat comparing to tissue. Tissue is easy to tear if wet and it is not reusable.

I definetly prefer tissue paper, I would never use a hanky, it just dosen't seem right for some reason. If I use tissue then I can dispose of it, but with a hankerchief, you can't really dispose of it, and to me that's a bit dirty and makes me want to cringe. So tissue it is.
