More than 300 people were detained and at least 10 injured after a second night of riots in Estonia's capital Tallinn. Police fired tear gas and rubber bullets during renewed clashes with mainly ethnic Russian protesters. A Russian national died in clashes on Thursday night, which erupted following the removal of a Soviet war memorial. Estonia says the memorial symbolised Soviet occupation. Supporters say it celebrated heroes who fought the Nazis.
