do you believe in past life?

I can accept that it's a possibility, but as a Zen practitioner, I aim to experience that only now exists. The past is no more, the future isn't yet and for my consciousness there is only now constantly moving away and becoming the future - that is itself only now.
I have had, during meditation, strong feeling and images of being somewhere else in a different time. These experiences always involved pain or stress of some sort, so I feel, they are unfinished situtations that I need to move on from and as they are past or related to the past, they are no more than an illusion, just as yesterday is not here any more, so too are these very vivid images gone and never to return except in the mind.
Never can they be proved to be a past life, nor in fact disproved, and I am satsified with that.:-)

i really find it interesting that you're a zen practitioner. i agree with your view, that we have to move on from the past, especially those which involve pain and hurt and regrets. i'll take in mind your advice that we should give more importance to the here and now. :)

I totally believe in a past life. I often have feelings of deja vu, and I also have dreams about things that have not actually happened to me, but then they actually occur in the not too distant future. It is kind of weird but I have gotten used to it.

yes, i agree with you. we get a feeling of deja vu and its really weird and unexplainable. anyway, i guess its just something that not even science cant explain. :)

How many times have you come across someone that you hit it off with instantly? You don't understand why or how but you feel instantly close to that person. I believe part of that closeness is because you have recognized a spirit that you knew before you were born. Can you see it in their eyes? I'm not sure. Maybe we can see into the soul

yes, i can also relate to that. strangely, there are just some people whom we meet and then we feel as if we'd known them for a long time already. very cool experience. :)

I just answered your question wrong.. I do believe that there is a past life but we cant find out for sure because we dont remember stuff like that.. But we do have Deja Vu and that is suppesed to be a sign of what happened in another life.

I believe that there is a past life. No one can really be sure or not if there really is because when we can really find out if there is or not were not here any more.. lol..
