I agree with a lot of that but I don't think I blush any more. lol. It's more a case of when I look into the eye of the one I really love, deeply, and they look back into mine, we hold that look for a long time. It's like telling them you love them in your mind and passing the words into theirs, via their eyes. They reciprocate and start off that tingling feeling inside. I don't blush though! ha ha ha

There is a thin line between love and what u are telling 'like'.Often the liking became loving without one's knowledge and the joy of being with somebody one whom u are liking turns into the joy of being together with the loved one.It is not that one only cry with the loved one,it is process which bring comfort in their life.

Like and love are two different things. Like is when you know the best side of someone and like them. Love is when you know the worst side that someone could ever have and you still love that person with everything you have in your heart.

love is more of a feeling of great affection while like is just something temporary and subject to change.

kathy my friend that was just so lovely and so perfect , can I say though I was luck because I liked my special person before I fell in love with him and that is why we are still together after almost 50 years , I think its a case of liking first and then the loving follows on , When I used to fall out with my sons when they were small I would say You have been naughty and I will always love you , but at this moment I do not like you , they grew up to appreciate the difference too , thanks for that pal , I am going to save it xx

That's very nice thing you wrote about love and like. Does love really make your heart beat faster? I haven't been in love yet. I don't know how you know if the little crush is just a phase or it is really love. How do you really know if you love that person? The eye, the blush, or fast beating heart, does it really tell you if you are in love?

In addition to what you have said... with the person you like... mostly the things that you see in him...are the positive one... while with the person you love... you tend to accept the imperfection of this person seeing it perfectly fit her...you love fully... positive and accept negative sides...cheerfully adjusting to it...

i like someone ,so we can be friends.but if i love someone ,we cant be friends,sometimes we can be strangers or even enemies.if my friend is in trouble ,i can keep calm to slove the problem ,but if my lover ,i cant.i cant'help myself to keep calm.how can i solve the problem for him?friends are important in my life ,lover is more important for me.both of them are something that i cant give up in my life.sometimes i think if someday both my friend and my lover are in trouble,how can i do for them?for me ,it is easier to find a lover ,but it is more difficult to make a good friend.now,i have found my lover,but now who can tell me where my good friend is ?

I was faced with that dilemma. How can a "like" turn to "love"? I was just wondering.As what I understand "like" is conditional while "love" is unconditional.

I think liking is a superficial feeling when a person possesses certain attributes that we look for. It doesn't affect your life or the decisions you make. Love is a deeper emotion where we are willing to commit to that person. It affects your life and the decisions you make.

Kathy I am sorry, I think you are full of crap lol. Just kidding, I don't mean this personally. Maybe, people are more different than we think. For me, "personally", my heart stops when I see the woman I love. When I am with the woman I love, winter can be winter and is still as beautiful, because everyday is. I smile, not blush, because I don't need to be shy. I can be who I am with the woman I love. When my lady crys, I cry inside, yet I try to comfort her as well. AND! for me, the feeling of love starts with the ear, I lust from the eye. So, I like her when I see her, and I love her when I hear her. As I said, maybe this just proves that people are completely different in all aspects.

Don't we love the one we like and don't we like the one we love . Both coexist . Just to play with words and give them a tag we can give our own defiinitions of love and like . I can come up with my own differentiations and you will not have any base to refute them . So its more of an independent opinion as regards the defintion of love and like . For me both coexist and I don't think you can love someone you don't like or like someone you don't love . It's a very thin line between the two and basically just a play of words .

I think when you love someone, you love him no matter who he is, but when you like someone you just like a thing or two about him. But i think love start in like, first you like him and when yout get know him, you will start loving him no matter who he is or what kind of person he is.

Thank u for posting such a lovely topic. I have joined mylot only three four days before. I have read only this writting of u. But i am sure that only a lovable person can express so sweetly. In every respect u r right. I want to add one thing. When the one u love have some major problem u must pray to God to Be him/her free from every difficulties and take all promlems in your own head. Even u can devote your life for his/her. But u must not do that for some one u like.
